In March/April the are NEVER on holiday in Villafafila; They're mating and you can see them EVERYWHERE. You just need a car. Do NOT leave the tarmac or gravel roads after it's rained; you'll get stuck! But a few birds can even be seen from the MOTORWAY!!!

...try the plains east of Villafafila (province of Zamora). I saw up to 500 in 1 morning, up to 300 from the same vantage point!(March/April)!
