See, the whole story about the syndrome was retarded and fake. The "original" version was a black sheep. The developers didn't make it right, so yep, all it caused was a headache from being extremely loud. Plus it was an ugly theme. Even a baby could do a better tune! Plus this version is better. But last minute thoughts suggested the baby in the pouch wearing the mothers' skull was rather... disturbing for small children, so they cut the evolution out of the games. But they didn't have enough time to fully remove it, as doing so would require more coding, so they hid the evolution. Which can still be found, only it's called Missingno.

So basically, a cubone was a baby Kangaskhan.
