is nanostray the only shmup for the ds? well ok there is gradius 1 in the knonami arcade collection but isnt it sad that the genre almost "untouched" on the ds?
@SusakeKes There's Big Bang Mini, which isn't really the same.. :( I still haven't played Nanostray 2, but I'm a big fan of shmups so I might buy it soon.
i think Nanostray 1 was much better than the second... not saying this one is bad but I just think the 1st was simple and to the point.. also don't like the adventure mode and how there are "continues" and once you run out you HAVE to start the entire adventure over again...
have you played part 2? part 2 is sick, is nothing like this video shows it, plus is wified, has a bunch of features to, you customize the way your ship shoots, you can unlock mini games etc etc. its very good.
is that an example of the actual music from the game?
if so, it's great and i might get this when i have some dough - even though i'm not a huge shooter fan. the graphics are super, and coupled with that music it's a very compelling experience. but without that beat and those cool, spacy, synth-pad background chords, i don't think it would be the same.
Just imagine what Shinen will do on 3DS...

If you are not an expert, play the first nanostray instead. If you are out of lives and continues, you will start from teppeki dock again.

Nanostray (the first one) was pretty nice.
There's only a flaw in the game, and that was the amount of gameplay time you can put into it. I played and finished in 1 day
