Is it just me or does that Greater Daemon sound a bit like Shenron from DBZ? I was just thinking that because some of the voice actors from the Ocean Group dub were in this game. Many have said Lord Bale sounds like Dinobot from Beast Wars and indeed they weren't too far wrong since Scott Mcneil voices both characters :)

Ok. This is a greater demon of khorne trapped in the stone for unknown reasons.

it is NOT khorne himself, as khorne would never even enter the human world, as it would be too boring to enter.. i mean, why enter some giant galaxy full of pity humans, when he controlls aslong as the other chaos gods, the other dimensions, the EYE of terror, where constant battle is located ;) .. think of that. it is not khorne, just a big greater demon.

Turns out, Inquisitor mortoki Toth was a demon in descise, the run off of power that came from the stone. He was the real person that was trying to free the demon. That is why Toth told Gabrial To destroy the stone.

i'll b honest, clicking's answer of sindri surviving is incorrect, i have studied chaos for years and i know almost all the information about them, sindri was gifted the favour of a chaos god (khorne) and was simply changed form permenantly to a daemon prince, it is a rare thing to happen but the maledictum was the god khorne held in captivity, and so when held, he was changed to that, and so when the daemon prince died, since it was sindri himself, he died.

It is assumed that as most Daemon Princess do after they die,he probably turned human again and sent back to the Eye of Terror,or he was sent back to the warp as a daemon prince waiting,for the moment to be summoned again,in both cases there can be a chance for him to be back at Dawn of War 2.
