such a special and lovely man, i loved his films when i was growing up, they will always live with me, will never forget the son g he sung in the 'square peg' with the girl at the piano, mouth wide open LOL, 1 of the funnies scene's ive ever witnessed, god bless you Norman, the world is not the same without you my friend
95 years old. God be praised. What a wonderful man. They'll be falling about laughing in Heaven tonight. "Mustn't swank" -- he was so unwilling to blow his own trumpet. So unlike today's celebrities - such modesty! And, do you know, despite living the last two decades on the Isle of Mann (a tax haven), Sir Norman ALWAYS paid the full-whack UK tax. A prince among men.
@Andy1982able I agree - he was a truely great man. I feel very privileged to have spent time with him and his family. Thanks for watching and posting.
So sad to hear the news of Sir Norman's death. The last of the greats of British comedy. He has fans in so many countries. This must be his last full interview.
A lovely man.
Norman was one of those people that even though you had never met him you still felt as though you knew him.

A man of huge talent that was of the "old school" which roughly translated means -
he had dignity, integrity, manners and of course never mentioned an F word to get a cheap laugh.
God bless old fella
