The last time I went through the Blackwall Tunnel was back in 1968 on my Norton 650SS motorbike! About 3 AM, no traffic! Great fun! The biggest truck then was Volvo G88!

Now the tunnel is nearly nomore used by the uk trucks exept the tanker an d the tippers,all the other english trucks are too high for the 4 meters

some traffic there!the tunnel looks cool, nothing like them modern state of the art places;-)and yeah you always get some great drivers around you, in Ireland very offten they start speeding up when you overtake them, so I just throw my indicator and start moving towards them, it always works;-D

Not the best way for a lorry. Very narrow and low tunnel. At 4.53 I can't recognize the white waste container truck in the opposite way: it's a japanese Hino? I remember that this brand may be on sale on Uk and Ireland. Sorry for the question: I live for trucks and I can't control my passion... As usual, great video!

I cant stand any tunnels its like the people are blind! just the other day I had to take the merseytunnel and that i regretted I drive a very big coach (47ft) and some drivers just treat me like I am in a tiny car and think I can blast around every corner!road rage and eaven bikes were havin a go at me grr! wish i never see another tunnel again .............................. nice vid mate 5*****

You can see why so many cars on english motorways get side swiped by foreign trucks, not the truckers fault, just idiot car drivers not being aware of whats going on around them and not paying attention to other road users.... Grrr

Blackwall looked very well lit, must have new lights, I remember it being very dimly lit last time I passed through.

This afternoon i have deliver in Witney near Oxford on the way back just before the roundabout at the entry of Oxford ,a fast lady had touch my bumper with her Audi ,she wanted to pass me and there was not room enough,

Neary nothing at the car but i have no more first step on my right side.It is funny she had broken the part were it is write"caution left hand drive"
