  • Watching this video sure brings back memories I had with my Irish setter when I was a kid. They are great dogs.

  • the most adorable dogs possible. and very difficult to take care of. but great dogs! love setters

  • i wants off the chain

  • The setter I had when I was a kid went nuts in a blizzard. He was tearing around the yard like an escaped mental patient. He suddenly stopped about fifty yards away, looked at me for a moment then charged. He threw a crazy flying tackle at me and knocked me on my ass. It was completely out of character and just baffled me. I was nine.

  • @menzelcassini

Tucker is a certified psycho. He doesn't need snow. We have a Jack Russell that gets him going like this everyday. It's a real show. No brains but big heart.

  • soooo cute!!!!

  • haha funny

  • aww soo cute! :D

and i saw in the description it said vermont! :D

  • i wonder why setters love the snow so much my setter can't get enough of it

    LOL!!!

  • remember my setter snickers, he died many years ago, i think all setter are crazy hahaha

  • you're so right! our setter Kerry used be so crazy too, but she was the sweetest dog I've ever known. I still miss her soooo much!

  • mine's crazy too...lol...but so clever and sweet!and i'm sure they know they're much more beautyful than other dogs

  • so right, they do know they're more beautiful!!

  • I was gonna say the same. All setters are completely nuts! I would know! Mine is nearly 15 and sometimes he still snaps and starts running around and jumping like mad, barking out of shear pleasure and craziness! =D

  • Ah man this reminds me of my Setter "sweets" she died many years ago but I remember she used to act the same way when it snowed!!!

  • beautiful

  • Lovely dog. I was surprised you said he competes as a sled dog. I wouldn't have thought Ir Setters had the right kind of feet for it.. You live and learn!

  • just like our dog in the snow today.

  • CUTE! lol XD

  • love the vid:)

  • my irish setter pup gets exited from one blowen away leaf. I wonder what will happen in the Autumn

  • Beautiful dog.

I always loved them. But why the tie-out? As great as they are, my preference is still the german shepherd - no tie out.

  • i have an irish setter and a sheperd and love them both :)

  • Beautiful Setter you have!

Makes me miss my Setter, Summer.

She died of cancer a couple years back.

They are the best companions God ever made.

  • I have a three year old irish setter just like this and he always acts crazy like that! lol.

  • I'd like to take Cody up to Mt.Charleston and see how he reacts to it. He should like it. He'll probably go crazy like he does in our house. We'll take Red also, he hasn't seen snow since he was in Utah in 2002.

  • Setters are loopy in the best way! Gentle dogs.

  • He's so cute! best dogs. And most of them are really smart too, Fraserized! Clever dogs, and the prettiest in the world!!! ;D

  • My dog does this. On my bed.

  • I have a one year old Irish who loves the snow too... Irish's are the best animals, not always the smartest but definitely the sweetest and I wouldn't have it any other way... Beautiful dog.

  • haha irish red setters are the best dogs, its entertaining to just watch them and see the goofy stuff they do!

  • Tucker!! he was doing this allll day in daycare today hehe - Lisa :)
