It's range is 1,046 km on it's own though often protect better SAM systems. With the s400 and 2 panstsir-s1 is almost unbeatable from the air. then with a supply line or transport it's range can go anywhere all most.

I am not saying the Pantsir is bad, because it is obviously very good, but this has attributes that allow it to do missions the Pantsir cannot.

True the Pantsir can't get in place fast but like said it just protects better SAM's & icbms like the s400. Then with the s400 huge range 400 km (40N6 missile) it don't need too move but still can. Russia uses the idea of a full shield of sams you can't get though. you have too overwhelm them just get by.

This is a part of LLAD (Low Level Air Defence) SAM system. Don't expect to have great distance but the accuracy is deadly! For ranged systems the best is still the Air to Air combat! :))
