I'm also wondering what kind of paper this is done on. I went to Michaels and asked there, and they had me buy acrylic paper. It's alright, but I can't do some of the same designs that other artists do. Should I do just a heavy duty paper or what?
I really want to get into this, but I've seen a lot of videos where people basically hold a torch over the paintings, and I'm not a big fan of that just because its a huge ball of fire. Is it necessary to do it? Or will the painting be just fine without it?
@evilchocolatebar73 When they put the painting on fire it dries the paint fast but may damage it as well. It is not neccary unless you want to wait for the paint to dry.
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say he meant "his first spray art video" lol there is no way that was his first.. As a SPA myself, I know that videotaping your very first time is unlikely :) also, he was using techniques (waterfalls) that take some trial and error for sure.. But good video..
