i just feel like the writer took the easy way out when he made lelouch accidently command euphy to kill all japanese. like there was no thought put into it or something. i guess they wanted to kill euphy off so they just used the first thing they could think of. it just pisses me off

This is the best scenes ever. Because from then on everything flips. When I first saw this in the anime, I was stunned! It just made it that much better. ^____^ Very shocking result.

One of the most epic scenes in anime history. It just came out of nowhere and was so absurd yet awesome at the same time that I fell in love with the series at that moment. I was laughing my ass like a madman when I first saw this. I can't thing of another series that could pull off something as mind blowingly crazy as this. CG is made of win.
When you think about it, this is the turning point that decided the entire series. This episode decided Lelouche's path, even if it was all just a truly horrible accident. It's such a shame.
I always wonder, if Lelouche's geass hadn't permanently activated... how would the series have turned out? The same with slight differences? Or a completely different story? No point wondering further but still...
Considering he originally planned to tarnish euphemia's name in becomming a martyr, like Jesus, (as he mentions her becomming his Pilate, (bible, crucifixion)) her fate was already sealed, as in an alternate scenario involving a revolt, she would have been killed. Rather than have lelouch die and the revolt continue however, many Japanese and Euphie died, leaving lelouch/zero to spare, allowing him to carry on with different plans that would lead to the liberation of Japan.
Damn, what a bad timing for his geass to lose control! Why it has to be Euphemia to be the victim of his uncontrolled geass...It's so painful because she's just a kind-hearted innocent princess wanted to have peace between japs and brits but she became a massacre princess by force...sniff!
@kuro125 Yes; He had finnaly gotten all he needed but it happened at the moment when his geass reached its near final stage called "run-away geass" where he cannot turn it off.
This scene made me cry! And I never cry! I felt so bad for Lelouch (and Euphemia, she was just so innocent)! But mostly Lelouch! I hated Lelouch for lying to Suzaku when he asked for help! I wanted him to tell him that it was an accident and that he was really going to help her! Poor Lelouch.

Well, it would really awkward to pat down someone like Zero (and dangerous), and I didn't understand why they didn't put a security camera in the room (and if they did why they didn't check it). And I think he said that ("kill all the japanese") in order to let the weight of his plan off his shoulders (he must have felt a little sick about that) as he got nearer and nearer to carry out a plan. He seemed a little relieved that he didn't have to do it when he agreed to help Euphemia.

One of the most epic scenes in anime history. It just came out of nowhere and was so absurd yet awesome at the same time that I fell in love with the series at that moment. I was laughing my ass like a madman when I first saw this. I can't thing of another series that could pull off something as mind blowingly crazy as this. CG is made of win.

When you think about it, this is the turning point that decided the entire series. This episode decided Lelouche's path, even if it was all just a truly horrible accident. It's such a shame.
I always wonder, if Lelouche's geass hadn't permanently activated... how would the series have turned out? The same with slight differences? Or a completely different story? No point wondering further but still...

Considering he originally planned to tarnish euphemia's name in becomming a martyr, like Jesus, (as he mentions her becomming his Pilate, (bible, crucifixion)) her fate was already sealed, as in an alternate scenario involving a revolt, she would have been killed. Rather than have lelouch die and the revolt continue however, many Japanese and Euphie died, leaving lelouch/zero to spare, allowing him to carry on with different plans that would lead to the liberation of Japan.
It all worked :p

Damn, what a bad timing for his geass to lose control! Why it has to be Euphemia to be the victim of his uncontrolled geass...It's so painful because she's just a kind-hearted innocent princess wanted to have peace between japs and brits but she became a massacre princess by force...sniff!

@kuro125 Yes; He had finnaly gotten all he needed but it happened at the moment when his geass reached its near final stage called "run-away geass" where he cannot turn it off.
Thats why c2 said "no not now..."

This scene made me cry! And I never cry! I felt so bad for Lelouch (and Euphemia, she was just so innocent)! But mostly Lelouch! I hated Lelouch for lying to Suzaku when he asked for help! I wanted him to tell him that it was an accident and that he was really going to help her! Poor Lelouch.

@1HAKHN I just hate lelouch and I just don't understand how Brittania didn't pat this guy down for a gun or bug Euphies dress or have any security at all. and who the hell says "I could make you kill all ____" especially when his favorite commands seems to be making people kill themselves.

hahah! Well, it would really awkward to pat down someone like Zero (and dangerous), and I didn't understand why they didn't put a security camera in the room (and if they did why they didn't check it). And I think he said that ("kill all the japanese") in order to let the weight of his plan off his shoulders (he must have felt a little sick about that) as he got nearer and nearer to carry out a plan. He seemed a little relieved that he didn't have to do it when he agreed to help Euphemia.

@StoreWar1 you're telling me the deadliest terrorist to their nation only got a little scan before being allowed near a princess of their nation. If I were there he would have gotten a full body cavity search. but i digress anyone who knows anything about fire arms knows that the hammer barrel and fireing pin must be made out of steel in order to deal with the high pressures adequately so an HHMd would have found it.
