Getting echo tracer is better than nether traitor. Echo tracer is something you can get really early, and plus, you're gonna keep comboing until they die. you're not gonna stop, so what's the point of having more damage? think about it.

the main problem with trying to get long combos with emil is that my human and monster allies keep getting in the way and moving me out of attack range

here is a tip wen u have more than game file in this game when u save b careful not 2 save over ur other game files.

@yoshi12335 actually, the wiimote\nunchuck setup is the one that allows up to 12 artes (through waggle as well as buttons)

Echo Tracer sucks, get the Nether Traitor. It has Accelerate and Regen 3 on it, plus the best attack power.

Well, for those who can't beat Album Atrum at Twilight Palace, Echo Tracer is the best weapon to go. But I have to agree, Nether Traitor is way better.

While the Echo Tracer is inferior to the Nether Traitor in both ability and power, you cannot say it sucks. Echo Tracer is available to you as early as Chapter 2, and you can use it for the majority of the game. Nether Traitor has drawbacks in obtaining it; forgetting to complete even one mission in chapters 5-8 will miss it, and Atrium Album is nothing to cough at. Besides, once you max out attack, power doesn't matter because Echo Tracer gets the job done. Free Run > Regen 3.

Album Atrum is the hardest boss in the game, therefore, at that point, you are logically able to beat anything else in the game the way you beat the Album Atrum. The nether Traitor is irrelevant.

Frankly, I think the Nether Traitor and Kismet are just show off items in order for one to demonstrate that he/she finished the game with 100% items of the such. Once you get Echo Tracer for Emil and the Prime Evil Cloak/Mystic Symbols + Speed Casts up to 2 (3 for only 1 Speed Cast 2 equipment) for Marta, you basically can beat all bosses in the game.

Generally Echo Tracer and Nether Traitor are the best swords for Emil in the game, regardless of power, because you can combo anything do to accelerate and use maximum combos.

I think I can be dropped for most bears. If you go to either Hima or near the Tower of Mana, fight the bears in those places and they may drop bear skin.

the Echo Tracer has the skill "Accelerate" to it, which allows you to quickly recover after an arte, then you reset yourself and can attack fully again.

@tetsuo9999 Boshe is still voicing Emil, just using his geeky voice instead of his "OMG I'M SUCH A BADASS" voice. Also, apparently Namdai originally intended to allow you to keep Ratatosk Emil around, but couldn't for some reason.
