Bruno and Larry have really stood there ground against Vince McMahon. They thought the world of his father, because he knew how to run things. Vincent K. doesn't have a clue and these two know it, even though the live in the heart of WWE territory, Pittsburgh.

Well, Pennsylvania was a big part of WWE back in the days of the territories. However, in Feb. 1987, WCW ran a card in Pittsburgh with the main event being Dusty Rhodes vs. Big Bubba Rogers (Ray Traylor) for the Bunkhouse Stampede Battle Royal Title for 1986. I heard that it sold out. Traylor would come to WWE in June 1988 as The Big Boss Man. He couldn't use the bodyguard gimmick because WCW had the rights to that.

Entertainment nowadays seems to be divas who can't wrestle and have practically no clothes and are just there to be eye candy, Hornswoggle, soap opera, scripted promos and hell even scripted matches and...John Cena

Where's the improv promos, matches, girls who can wrestle? The matches have always been the most entertaining part and the most crucial part of pro wrestling (at least in my mind)

@SolidMike84 The matches were always scripted, as they always knew who was going to win beforehand. "improv matches", as you call them, still happen when they call the moves in the ring. Girls who can wrestle -- check TNA for that.

Yes, they knew what the goal was, but the road to the goal they pretty much made up on their own as well as their promos. Today it feels like you're watching the same match over and over again and that wrestlers..."act" when they cut a promo instead of living in the moment and try to make it sound..."real"

Let the wrestlers who can talk talk and those who can't, give them a script and maybe later they'll learn the talk from others or on their own

is real but I think there is something to him (Zbysko) wanting to move up the ladder. Weird things happen even in Pro wrestling. I know this. Mr Zbysko, I know and have met Bruno, Bruno is a friend of mine, Mr. Zbysko you are no Bruno Sammartino. This guy is a legend and skilled not like the cartoon characters of today that has made wrestling a sham.

Larry was actually a great wrestler because he knew all of the holds, but his legendary feud with Bruno overshadows it. I have watched the chair incident many times and it is still shocking!  Today, when someone gets his over the head with a chair, it is just "ho-hum", but back in 1980, it was breathtaking! I have heard stories that people would throw rocks at Larry's car and that Larry was once stabbed by a fan. That's how much people loved Bruno and hated Larry in real life.
