you dont need appshare this video is outdated you want installous but thats down right now try downloading the ipa's on the computer just google search for the ap you want then type ipa at the end for example supermonkeyball ipa or whetever then download that and double click what you downloaded to open with itunes then sync your ipod with your comp

ok i've got installous and i downloaded a couple things but when i install them, it goes thru the process...and nothing shows up on the springboard afterwards, i've tryed restarting the ipod, but nothing..any help?

you need to press install when you get to that part not download...that may be the problem...another thing you could do is go into installous and click the downloads tab at the bottom then click the app and reinstall it...if all this fails go to the settings tab and change the install method to dirty instead of clean then reinstall the apps...also turn the itunes sync off as it will delete your apps when you sync

for most of the apps to work you have to be on the 2.1 firmware...im not sure why it wont download

(read bottom up) ive got an iPod clickwheel 4th Gen LED version, thats a real classic, no bugs, no crashes, running like a beaut. Its got what is necessary as a music player,, yes the battery is old less life, yes $500 was expensive at time and weighs a bit more then the touch,, but hey i can navigate a lot quicker than you suckers on your touch screen and i dont have to take it out of my pocket to navigate either.

if my ipod dies ill get the classic 120GB, colour screen thats all i need.

because you dont have a touch you really dont know as much about it as we do...the whole point of jailbreaking is to get apps such as video recording and emulators as well as customizing the way the device looks...you can navigate the ipod app on the phone without taking it out of your pocket by the way...as for the app store whats wrong with having stupid games that are fun for a little bit? and why did you watch this video if you have a clickwheel

you need to be on the 2.1 firmware...you could also try reinstalling them or rebooting your device

Everything worked fine but I dont see the app on springboard. Then when I try to install a different app it says you cant d/l more then 1 app at a time. Do you know what is going on? Do you also know how to stop a download or delete an app?

im not sure why the app didnt show up on the springboard...the only thing i can think of is if it was really big app and it didnt finish downloading...to unistall an app you can go into instalous and if you slide your finger over the app that you want to delete the little delete option comes up
