Interesting physiotherapy. Very creative concept. What about using clicker training to get Doof to want to stay on the wobble board. It appears that since he is straining at times to get off the board that must negatively affect his therapy.
what exactly is clicker training???....we used another method later....treats...he was so focused on what whas in the vet tech's hand that he forgot to try and run off the board
You're pretty close. Clicker training is positive-reinforcement. When the dog does what you want - like put a paw on the wobble board - you click and give him a small food treat. Within minutes he will be standing up there by himself to get his click and a treat. Google Clicker training and you'll see what I mean.
