I personnaly like zidane but I see where your coming from. Squall is pretty badass and Firion is one of the few FF heroes that is a normal human, not some chosen warrior hes just a guy who joined the rebel army to kick some emperor ass

Firion can equip ANYTHING, and Squall has a freaking gunblade! (actually, that probably explains why Seifer is my fave FF villian too xD)

yeah, i like how Firion wasnt anyone special, and just joined because he lost everything and wanted revenge, and i like Squall because i can relate to him on many levels... and Renzozuken is the greatest Limit Break EVER! xD

ok, i think i worded that last part badly after re-reading it...

out of all of the FF characters in any game (if dissidia wasnt taken into context because we can actually compare characters in that) Firion and Squall are, in my opinion, the two greatest heroes.

However, as i have not played Dissidia (still waiting to get my psp :P), i cannot comment saying that they are the two best in this particular game.

Does anyone else see Dissidia as Square's answer to Smash Bros.(a strong answer at that). If so do you guys think there will be a sequel cuz a lot of people say no while others think of stupid characters to add. But regardless I think this could be a new franchise for games from Square(y'know if they have a brain stem)

I could see it happening if it made enough money. Personally there's some secondary characters I'd rather play as than some of the main characters. Auron, Shadow, Amarant, Vivi, Vincent, Seifer, and I know There from another game but Sora and Ansem of kingdom hearts.

Adding Sora, Ansem, and Riku along with a few more would be awesome, the FF characters you mentioned are perfect for Dissidia. I think adding Kain, maybe Seymour, Paine, Edge and definitely Basch would be excellent to.But let me ask you if Ramza from Tactics was included do you think Volmarv would be a better villain over Ultima I do simply because Ultima is just like Cloud of Darkness and doesn't play a real role in the story until the ending but Volmarv did all the dirty work and is bad ass to

Freelancer. Every single character in FF2 is a freelancer. They can equip all weapons, armor, and spells. Which ones they use is entirely up to you. Every character is a blank slate.

i believe its the dissidia arranged version of "Dungeon" from the original Final Fantasy. Then again, it might jus be a previously arranged version chucked into the game, like from the Black Mages or sumthin, but being an arrangement of "Dungeon" im certain.
