I have never heard "The Party Is Over" done as a smoky, sizzling ballad in this wonderful arrangment, Aretha Franklin does not get the credit she deserves as being one of the last great female singer-pianists, along with Shirley Horn, Roberta Flack, Carmen McCrae, Dinah Washington, even Sarah Vaughan, the latter (3) not known for their keyboard musicianship; this is Aretha at her trio/jazz club days best during her Columbia Records years. Totally exquisite, thanks a million for posting.
