Nice car. Personally, I would have left the rear spoiler on. It identifies it as a 500SL stock as well as get rid of the center break light. It's a classic and very unique. My understanding there are only a hundred in the states and less than a dozen licensed.
Your's is nice. Mileage? Mine 116K, '85, I put 15" wheels but kept the 14", just not as pretty.
Unfortuately, the old trunk was damaged beyond repair. We got a new trunk from a 1988 560SL and just changed the 560SL tag, and then connected the third brake light because it was easier than filling the hole where the break light used to be.
The odometer stopped at 154,000 miles, which is weird because the benz odometers are usually very reliable.
i have this car i can say that is an amazing car....it is a 5 stars car

The first pics had the spoiler on them, did you reck it afterward?

no. the original trunk with the spoiler had irreversable rust damage so we had to change it.
