man this video is sooo edited to make horsepower look great!!! Now they are good but this battle was NOT as one sided as this vid makes it seem. BOTH sections won their rounds and overall it was closer to a draw.

thanks I'm not a huge fan of Clark but all videos i seen of VSU made me believe their one of the top sections. Honda proved me wrong as this is the first time i have seen them live. they not that strong at all, not what i expected atleast.

Sorry we didn't come off the way you expected. We never claimed to be the loudest, just a beast in battle. Also with 3 of our veterans being put on trombone and one of the guys playing was a first semester freshman, we had to work with what we had which was basically a young squad mostly of freshman and sophomores. But it is all good. We take all comments as constructive.

They are only snippets of what is really going on. And sometimes people only tape what they want. But every band has their down times. On the other hand constructive criticism is great.

The sections in the band wanted to battle. Usually a few minutes prior to the event, sections go at it or after mass bad but this year, the Honda folks did stuff to try to prevent it. Most of the band heads would rather get their time in a battle than do the show. The battles are the bonding and shine time for the bands whether it is by sections or full band.
