The initial honeymoon phase is the best (when living overseas) - look in the second hand shops for a controller - I don't know about akiba, but out west the sofmap franchise has a decent second hand set up - I hear that "Hard-Off" (Hardware spin-off of Book-Off, the massive second hand bookstore chain)

I'm in Japan as well and there are a lot of stores you can check Try "Hard Off" it's a great recycle shop.You can pick up an XBOX controller there for around $5 or so. Located in many places around Japan. Looks like you made it in time to see the Cherry Blossems. Anyway, that's a good shop to get cheap stuff, just ask a friend here and they'll be able to help you out.
life in tokyo is not that super expensive in terms of income level. tokyo marks the lowest bigmac index in the world, which means you can earn more than any other cities in the world.

The footage of Japan just makes me want to move there even more...although I may have to anyways since me and my boyfriend both want to be videogame designers; he is much more set on moving to Japan than I am (family and whatnot). That is so cool though, I would definitely love to visit Japan in the near future. Good luck there!

Good luck to you! I was in Japan April the 6th-13th and it was was the best thing I ever did. My friend that I stayed with let me borrow a Pasmo card. I think thats what it was called. Really though if someone really wants to visit somewhere, do it! My experience in Tokyo was the best Ive ever had. Good luck to you too Samtron! Oh Sam check out Maiji Shrine if you get the chance.

The initial honeymoon phase is the best (when living overseas) - look in the second hand shops for a controller - I don't know about akiba, but out west the sofmap franchise has a decent second hand set up - I hear that "Hard-Off" (Hardware spin-off of Book-Off, the massive second hand bookstore chain)

I'm in Japan as well and there are a lot of stores you can check Try "Hard Off" it's a great recycle shop.You can pick up an XBOX controller there for around $5 or so. Located in many places around Japan. Looks like you made it in time to see the Cherry Blossems. Anyway, that's a good shop to get cheap stuff, just ask a friend here and they'll be able to help you out.
