I haven't checked your latest work but you should retry this with an autohotkey script that repeats itself with a delay to press your F1 key for you. I think it would produce what you want to happen.

well done man :) i was thinking about doing this but i cant seem to get the mod better light to work with my minecraft:( but im glad someone else has had this idea

@ajjekko The initial recording was done with fraps with the UI turned off. Then I sped up the footage and added the tilt shift effect in Adobe After Effects.
