@Bloodraven216 While some of the US episodes were lifted directly from the UK original, about half of the US episodes were different, and directed toward the producers' own unique vision of the Grand Mystery.

Lovely use of color to indicate Sam's realization of 'real' and 'unreal' - not even slightly anvilicious and very effective.

Ta muchly! - it wasn't a huge change, just adding the replay of the final jump from b & w to colour. Trust me, it made all the difference to the pacing.

(Re-watching, I realized how you cut in the beginning between Sam's looking around on the rooftop and looking around in '73 - I never made that connection before, that he does that both times. Pretty cool.)

I've always thought the guitar in this song had a vaguely 70ish sound. Love the video, it gives me goosebumps! Such wonderful editing and build-up. I like how the LoM finale managed to make Sam's ultimate suicide seem so victorious - the ending to the show is either really heartwarming or really dark depending on how you look at it.

First of all: Great vid, 5 stars.

Second, this vid spawned a theory: What if tyler died when run over by that car and the 70's were his afterlife? I thought of this because he rubbed his fingers together after that the same as when he cut himself in the last ep and couldn't feel it. What if he couldn't feel it after the accident? According to Nelson, it means he's not truly alive anymore (prop some limbo since there's Ashes to Ashes). Which could mean Alex is dead, too.

Hmm, I never noticed before, but I think you may be right. Hard to explain Alex knowing about Gene Hunt and the gang, though, but yes, I do believe Alex is/will die. I don't foresee a totally happy ending to A2A.

About A2A: I meant perhaps Sam went into a coma and his subconscious picked up all the voices and sounds. Then he died, if only for a few seconds; afterlife (limbo, whatever) happened and strengthened him mentally to wake up again. He told Alex his experiences and commited suicide. He went back to limbo (either his last few seconds or waiting room to afterlife) and then passed on. I just can't imagine Alex not having severe brain damage from the bullet and leaving Gene Hunt.
