Today I am grateful I wasn't born into physical slavery, rape and torture; that I'm not hunted, imprisoned and exploited from my first breath to my last; that I wasn't casterated fully conscious nor stripped from my mother at birth and beaten by selfish men; that I'm not prodded with electrocution at every move nor forced to stand in searing hot warehouses without room to move, while wallowing in feces; that occasionally in life I've seen more of humans than brutality, selfishness, and toture.
You guys dont care about animals, but rather your own hunger. That makes me sick. Animals are living breathing creatures. What if there was some other species that liked to eat us and put us in factory farms? And they slaughtered us so they good see us on our plate for dinner? Then you would be against it and wouldnt like it at all. Because then it would be called murder, and animals cant go against so vegetarians have to be the voice to stop this. Great video btw
Pigs are so lovable and cute and smart!! I can't believe I used to eat ham, now I don't eat pork any more. I'm also having a hard time eating beef since I meet several cows in person last year and they are so amazingly playful and curious specially when they are young. I try to keep my meat intake to a minimum and mostly only meat I eat is free range chicken.
unfortunatly most of these large corp meat farms have to have quotas as well. because in order to keep up with the demand of meat. you have to continuiously push and rethink your stratagies. on how to make the highest amout of meat, with the best quality, with a minimal amout of cost. a large percentage of these mass meat farms lose money, not gain.. to raise these animals big, healthy and eventually to your table too keep YOUR bellies full.
@Polywogger The reason factory farming exists is because greedy bastards at the top always want to make more profit, they will manage to make the cost of the meat cheaper (and it's quality too) and wipe off the competence in the process, it's called aggressive capitalism. No one needs to eat THAT much meat, there are people in my country that eat meat almost every day and the funny thing is that vegetarian food is actually cheaper, look at countries like India and Indonesia and what they eat.
99% of the worlds population will never know the tast of "free-range pork. why? because a free-range farm can never support the demand for the meat that the majority of the human population asks for on a daily basis. corporate meat farms to being with where made because of the human population and it's demand for food. so really you should look at and blame yourself for some of the farms conditions that are out there. it costs alot to house, breed, raise, feed, medicaly treat, these animals.
Free rnage pigs cost the earth. Did anyone notice the lack of vegetation? Free range is an indulgence a growing population and fragile ecosystem cannot afford. Unsustainable farming at it's worst.
@FairTradePork So the problem is human overpopulation? we agree, and also the problem is human greed and capitalism, you don't need to eat meat every day, that's why factory farming is not necessary, of course the people investing in big meat producers will have on their interest to foment the demand of more and more meat, that's why Americans are so fat and that's why they advertise food like sex these days. Disgusting.
pigs will eat everything they can found and even the waste of other animal. So if pigs live outdoor, pigs will have weird parasite and harmful for human a lot.
@onepointpoint That's another reason why pigs are not meant to be eaten. They are meant to clean the earth. It's a shame, now they're locked up in concentration camp type factory farms never to go outside, and are cramped in tiny quarters. Thanks to factory farms which is horrible to the eco system, we have swine flu.
@onepointpoint The fact that you're so full of bullshit makes me think that you eat quite a lot of shit yourself. What do you think it could be harmful to eat for a pig in a field? Do you realize that the biggest thread for humans is E.coli which comes from factory farmming feeding the animals the wrong kind of food, usually corn based? Ignorant fuck.
hi am happy you like pigs, i have a pig farm here in uganda and i used my farm as a chairity , so out of every 12 or 15 piglets produced, i give away 2 piglets to a poor family so they raise and increase the income and support the poor family
your a kind person, i like pigs and i rare them in uganda for a chairity to support poor family, a nd money fro m the sale of pork i donate to a small clinic here so the poor can afford medicine freely
it could all be done like this if enough people wanted it. saving a few pennies is more important it seems.
