I think "We didn't start the fire" refers to the idea that we all build off of other history, and excluding the creation of the Universe, there is no single event in human history that was created from nothing. That even as we live in this world, we are contributing to the fire.

Also, maybe he doesn't mean fire negatively, but as something that creates a huge impact in a short amount of time...

I am going to be Very honest with you.

The video is great, it has a few funny pictures here and there, which was a nice touch, as well as the very down to Earth pictures. However, you could have done better with the following things...

1. Better beginning...I would never have the title with the song...the title should have been brfore the song started.

2. A Few pictures didn't match.

3. The part were he says "we didn't start the fire..." could have been better
