  • Thank you very much for your response. I am glad that you liked the piece . It is a varnam specially choreographed under the guidance of my senior guru smita mahajan , we converted the ashtapadi into a varnam set in raagam pantuvarali and misrachapu taalam. I just saw the videos on your youtube profile. I saw the second video and memories of my arangetram came back to me. I also performed Bharatiar's Mazai . Its an amazing composition.

  • love the concept of your production : Nayaka. i'm a male bharatanatyam dancer based in Sydney and always thrilled to see such themes explored. wonderful idea turning the ashtapadi inot a varnam.

  • Hi,

thanks again. I am glad u liked the concept. Appreciation coming from the male bharatantyam commmunity is a true delight.

  • oh this s 7th ashtapadi..(maamiyam). u learn kalakshetra style littl bit?

  • My initial 15 years have been from Guru Rema Shrikant ( disciple of Prof. C.V. Chandrashekhar). The following performance has been full choreographed by me under the guidance of Guru Smita Mahajan ( disciple of Dr. Sucheta Chapekar) . We converted the ashtapadi dehi sundari into a varnam .

  • ohhh good, yea its 7th ashtapthi peice so u make it as varnam good..ok chandru sir disciple she was ok .
