  • U can get a 1 series m sport convertible in England for £30,000 which is what I have, fantastic little car for getting around and you look good doing it

  • that's $32,000 BASE PRICE. most people want/need options like the sport package. otherwise it's like buying spaghetti without the meatballs, peanut butter without the jelly. you need the sport package in a sporty car. this is one way the company uses to jackup the base price to near or above $40,000 which it easily will get to. we all know no one just gets the base model on any car. options are always chosen. then, there's sales tax and other fees.

  • @scir91 get every thing aftermarket way cheaper

  • tooo expensive!!! for entry level : (

  • Just bought a 2011 128i brand new for 32,000 flat with taxes...well worth it, have enjoyed every minute of it and it is a way better car than the 3 series.. they should just eliminate the 3 series and make more 1 series cars.. 3 series are a joke...everyone stops and asks me about it and say they love it..i live in Chicago and its just an awesome drive..and no one really has it so you feel unique..unlike the 3 series that i see at every other stop light lol

  • For an entry-level Bimmer, it's pricey... If it were about $25K, it'd be a steal.

That said, there's few cars even at that price which performs and handles the way it does.

  • bottom line...the 128i is the best car BMW makes.

  • Tooo many Cars better with better pricing

  • $32,000 is the reason why that car doesn't sell. I would jump on to this car in a heartbeat over a 3Series simply because of it's size, design, and agility. But because of it's price, I'd feel ripped off and could never get comfortable with the idea.

  • @AccidentallyFunny your an idiot...the 3 series is a sedan not a coupe, its a regular car this is a sports car.

  • @manuntd2009 you're an idiot... the 3 series comes in coupe body style with 2 doors.

  • @AccidentallyFunny yes but that coupe version isnt as sporty as this car its more of a sedan coupe that looks like a bloated family coupe similar to the audi's. The M3 is the only 3 series sports car and even that is just too in your face.

  • @manuntd2009 you sir, still remain corrected. I couldn't care less about your "opinion" or how you feel the 3-coupe is bloated or carries a wife and 2 kids. How you feel about it, quite frankly I just don't give a shit. i WOULD, if you came at me like a normal guy wanting to talk about cars, not starting your comment off calling someone you don't know an idiot.

For the record, a coupe is a coupe. The 2-door variety of the 3-series looks considerably different than the 4 door. Fact.

  • @AccidentallyFunny ok well the idiot thing, everyone says that if they disagree with people its just a youtube thing doesnt mean you really are an idiot...i agree it looks different but its still not as sporty as it could be...thats the one thing with BMWs in comparison to lets say a porsche cayman or lotus elise which are proper looking sports cars, with BMW there is a fine line between sports car looks and just a family type car, the BMW 3series have crossed that line for quite some time now.

  • @AccidentallyFunny It's completely worth it. Better than the 3 series in every way, worth every dollar.

  • @AccidentallyFunny your actually right.. i think i can might as well get the 328i for 2g more ? but last time i checked on the dealership the 128i went from $32,000->$27,000 at the riverside bmw. idk i could be wrong.
