Also: I don't really see that big of simularity with World of Warcraft other than the classes and mounts. I see more of a simularity with Guild Wars because they can dual class, and adjust height. Cant play wow for 24 Hrs because of a Pre. Cataclysm update,so I think I will try R O M for the first time. These games help me take my mined off of pain,they are very good when it comes to that.

Plus you can't judge f2p with just one game there are so many out there and there are different types. Plus there are allot of them that are updated frequently and have events and all that. @wehomy Not only do I agree that WoW isn't the best, I feel it's been degrading and that it'll collapse on itself soon. My friend who's been with the game since just before the first expansion's actually leaving it because she feels there is less to do now (thanks to some ill-advised changes).
But enough of that. In regards to Runes of Magic, I read up on the class system (I'm hoping for a non-standard tank and the Warrior/Druid combo sounded like one) and may give the game a try soon.

there is no perect game and wow is far from perfect . its good it is vary good, but so are alot of fre to play games. but mostly its gose down to what u like. and like always there pros and cons to every game. thats all im saying.(againg im am not ditching wow it is a great game but there are also other great games out there)

Also: I don't really see that big of simularity with World of Warcraft other than the classes and mounts. I see more of a simularity with Guild Wars because they can dual class, and adjust height. I don't know if other people agree with that statement but it just seems kind of like a mixture of Guild Wars and World of Warcraft.

I quit WoW because it got boring and I couldent find a free MMORPG that I liked and then i saw this one and i enjoy that it has the feel of WoW but its not WoW.plus WoW has to many changes but I enjoy this game plus u get ur own house as ur bank rest place all that u can get pets and duel classes so i give this game a 9.5/10

@BriannaDawnc pfft ive played most free to play, and none of these "leaps and bounds" are anything special. WoW is highly balanced, and has good mechanics, and is an ever evolving game, most games mechanics in f2p games dont change hardly at all, that is one reason wow has stayed alive for so long.

@Arcrux ok WOW is not all that old, there are some free to play games that have been around for over 10 years. Plus you can't judge f2p with just one game there are so many out there and there are different types. Plus there are allot of them that are updated frequently and have events and all that. Just because world of warcraft is flashy and has commercial success doesn't make it better.

YES games are updated, but its usually just more content, i was talking about evolving mechanics not just story line, there are good free to play games i never said there were not. Ive been playing runes of magic and enjoying it, wow is a good game, wether people hate it or love it, in the end its all about prefference, but as i said most F2P games dont change very much in a way that keeps you coming back.

To be able to compete in this game you can:
a) Pay 10 times as much irl $ as wow cost per month
b) Play 5 times more hours compared wow.
This game is not worth the money or the time. Spend it on a better game with good devs. Like WoW for example.
