No on 23 in California is a good idea for all the reasons she stated, but it amazes me that we still have to be told. After the Enron initiated power debacle of 2000-backed by sleazy politicians-you would think Californians would be smart enough to recognize that bills backed by OUT OF STATE INTERESTS ARE VIRTUALLY ALWAYS BAD FOR PEOPLE LIVING IN CALIFORNIA.

The lie that big Texas oil and the billionaire Koch brothers, who are behind this cynical proposition, is that it's about jobs. As Meghan so eloquently states, it's about pollution, pollution caused illness, and the continuation of low pay service sector jobs. Real, high value jobs will come from investment in new clean tech energy.
Let's hope Meghan can get her wish for her career in clean energy.

@mhnoodle What jobs will be created?. The installation of Solar Panels?, LOW PAY. Manufacture of panels... to be made in China and India and Europe and in other states than California. The manufacture of panels is a low tech job with low pay. Read the 1000 page document that the Ca EPA has in store for us.

Wow. This little girl is so compelling. My research shows she is right on the mark. What a shame if California were to stop being the technology leader of this great country.
