This is wonderful to watch. I have never seen a Contra dance from this angle. I do wish the caller/prompter was more clear, but it is obvious that the dancers can hear him and that is what is most important. Thank you for sharing this unique demonstration of what is Contra dancing.
This helped me understand contra dance moves better than actually DOING them! Wouldn't it be great if we dancers could experience ourselves as a kaleidoscope when we are actually on the dance floor? Way cool. Thanks for sharing.
What an outstanding angle from which to film. What makes it better is nobody knew you were there, so nobody was acting. And the lack of faces makes the viewer concentrate on the overall dancing and synchronicity.

Dancing is a kaleidascope!I have known that for so long! Try for a waltz? Especially a fast one! But I concur that contra is the perfect example.
