The economy is crap and the first to drop is charitable giving. Probably why you did not get any takers. Hell I'm a crazy animal guy too but not a wealthy one! We are almost the same age and you too have probably figured out that things usually have a way of working out one way or another, whatever don't kill you makes you stronger. The animals know you by "heart".
