@carlopicasso You will actually see plenty of variation in kata within the Isshinryu style itself. Some instructors "adjust" the kata to conform to their understanding and application of the kata. For instance, you brought the supported elbow across rather then upper. Something slightly different, but I still know it's Isshinryu. Master Shimabuku was a constant innovator. If he was still with us today, I'm sure our style would be different from what we have now. Keep working hard.
@msnaruminem With most Katas you perform the same moves on the right as you do on the left. I was able to find Master Shimabuku doing Seiuchin. The uppercut is done first with the right then with the left. Thanks for watching.
@PrymeNinjaStyle I agree. A lot of it depends on the style and where it came from. My style is Isshinryu. It comes from both Gojo-Ryu & Shorin-Ryu. I'm sure you'll see some differences as well as some similarities. Thank you for watching.

I study isshinryu as well. At 1:00, shouldn't you uppercut with the right hand instead of the left?
Thanks

@carlopicasso Actually, I think you meant to say left uppercut, THEN right. You even perform your kara with left first :)

@ShotokanBleach I do Isshinryu. Isshinryu is a mix of Gojo-Ryu & Shorin-Ryu. Master Tatsuo Shimabuko was the founder.
