Conquered this game over 4 times. Kicked Azura's ass and his flying head in. Not to mention the demon you fight at the end. But my favorite place was the tornado board. I've never seen a game have something quite like that. Can't believe Nintendo gave this up.
Really good game. Glad I picked it up for really cheap. The controls feels tight, and there's great variety in the levels and bosses.
I have a couple of issues though, it appears at times the hitboxes of your character and the enemies are off, as a wall can crush you even if visually you can fall down a gap, and it's easy to clip into enemies and take damage. Also the music can get repetitive at times. However, the rest of the music is a massive earworm, and reminds me of Spyro.
Played this game when I was young and finally found it a couple of days ago.
I could never remember the name... anyway, fantastic game, my only complaint is that it's a bit too easy. Other than that, one of the greatest, most underrated games I've ever played.
Man, I loved this game back then. I thought I was like the only person who knew about it. I break out my SNES every 5 years or so and give it a play through. I'd love to see a VC release, but that seems unlikely given the publisher. Heck, I might even buy a PS3 or PSP if Sony were to revive this game!
I've been trying to track this game down for ages! and then i freaking find it!!!
I loved this game, and after not seeing it after 10years it still amazes me.
The animation especially (look at his freaking hair!)...the controls were fluid and precise. Then lots of kick ass moves you could do. great level and sound and enemy design. man i love it.
read what it says a few times at 1:01... gotta love it. I miss this game... the freakin pink thing on the tower level always killed me so i never beat the game.
I remember the first time I played this game. My cousin's best friend brought it to my house when my cousin came to visit. It was only 2 weeks before we returned to school from our summer vacation. I was 10 years old at that time
Not sure whether this appears in the english ending, but the game seems to have been developed by Ukiyotei and Imagesoft in conjunction with one another. The staff list will also reveal a certain Gran Turrisimo producer and many of the execs from SCE Japan too

Thanks for the Demo,
this game speaks well from the Golden Ages
of the SuperNes, How often can you see
the mythical Land of Lemmuria in a VideoGame?

That's weird. When it makes you die in the intro stage it normally takes him 4 attacks to kill me, but it only took you one.

Check out my Skyblazer vids and let me know what you think.

Was this game created by the same people who created ActRaiser and Soulblazer?
TGArthur 5 years ago
Nope, that's Quintet -- Skyblazer was developed by Sony Imagesoft.

This game looks pretty cool. The way the character moves reminds me of strider and the boss fights remind me of megaman.
