i have this film at home and its really good!!!!!!!!!!!
a child waz separated from her mom wen she went into labor den a woman wit no child to Geeta and left dem wit Seeta.Den later the parents die and leave Seeta wit her aunt who takesall her money from da goverment!!!!!!!!!
Hahaha, that is sooooooo cute:) Yeah, I wouldn't imagine her cooking either. Just something about her that doesn't scream "cooking" for me:) With all the amazing talents our Hema possesses, leaving one out would not hurt anybody:) Those that love something and have a passion for it perform it with an excellent manner. Her not liking cooking and being in the kitchen would have no point behind it:)
Is it proper for people who have come to see the proposed match in an arranged marriage to make such caustic and biting remarks upon the girl's attire? She is not their family member yet.
Hema showcased her excellent acting ability in this film the most, hence why she received a Filmfare Best Actress Award for her role as both Seeta and Geeta. It takes immense talent and dedication for one to play two roles, one completely different from the other. Hema deserved more than an award. A Nobel prize is a must for this film!
With the support of Sanjeev Kumar, Manorama, Satyendra Kapoor, Honey Irani, Pratima Devi and the rest of the cast, this film is a guaranteed hit and will ALWAYS be one!
This film is an Indian MASTERPIECE! No other film has captured the true essence of movie-watching for me the way "Seeta aur Geeta" has. It has the right balance of so many genres incorporated, such as comedy, romance, drama, etc. Who to have made the film an all-time hit that it is 'till today than the sweet, lovable, and extremely charismatic couple of the film, Hema Malini and Dharmendra!
This scene, from my ALL-TIME favorite film "Seeta aur Geeta", is so touching, yet so entertaining at the same time. Throughout the film, one noticed the sweetness and the quiet ways of Seeta, though no other scene captured the pity of her the way this certain point of the film did. I'm sure audiences all over the world felt the helplessness in Hema the way that I did:)
But to tell you, she looks fascinating Indian beauty when in yellow sari in Amir Garib song while Dev Anand is singing and wooing/chasing her "Moni aur Soni" song to be precise
Remember Abhinetri when she is dancing before the rajan or the king (who is swept off his feet incidentally, despite his initial braggadocio of being immune to her magic): she comes first in pink and then white: stunningly beautiful pictures of her.
Why should somone say no to her?!: her dress is western but by no means vulgar. Ravi saw she was tripped by her cousin. What a beauty!!! What a tattoo again! Mr. Sanjeev Kumar must have dreamed her in real time! DreamGirl: another classic still and image WOW

she looks a bit like her daughter. But Hema's 1000 times prettier. What a shame her daughter isn't as famous as she is.

When she asks her doting grandmother to stop beseeching and not to be over apologetic Ravi should have come back.
