  • The problem is that in this recording the legendary "Elman Tone" is lost. I have a vynil where it is felt( or heard). Check out " Mischa Elman plays Schubert Serenade"- it's closer to the idea though not fully so.

  • Hi Thanks for this legendary recording. Elman is one of the many violinists that should not be forgotten. His legendary tone, slides and impulse vibrato leave nothing else to be desired. I really appreciate this. Do you Know where I can find all the recordings of Elman and Kreisler? Please! Thanks!!

  • i dont know - just keep trying amazon used and ebay and goto every library you can find, i have been doing this aggressively for about 8 years now and decided to upload the rare stuff that is not as easy to find
