i am 17, female.  i had speed braces and then clear, ceramic braces and the SPEED BRACES ARE AWEFUL. they are smaller and easier to clean, BUT cut my gums and although i got out of them faster, they did not make my teeth as straight as I would have liked. go for ceramic!!! clear is betterrr!!

i had speed brackets for 2 years i was quite satisfied with them...at the beginning it hurts but i think thts diffrent from time to time...but i survived! =)
