theoretically yes, but it would take ages and in the very hard stages like cotten alley, you wont be able to choose someone else than bandage girl

@emptysys That's weird...yes, it took very long but I still didn't get the achievement...are you sure there is no exception for steve due to him being able to completely avoid most obstacles?

@emptysys You know, if you shoot 2 or 3 times when you jump, Alien Hominid can jump VERY high. He can easily jump higher than anybody else the game. He can even outjump The Kid, Ogmo, Naija, and Josef. That's why he's my favorite character in the game. I have the XBLA version but I already know about the PC version characters. Please Reply.

and yes he's great, he's one of the moste useful characters in the game actually, and by the way Ogmo cant jump quite high, I think he is no hurde for any of the characters to beat :P

and I dont like the XBLABLABLAOMGWTFBBQ version that much , because the characters prewwdy much suck :o

Well my favourite is also Alien Hominid and somehow Brownie >:D (Just a kind of Skin for Meat Boy , but it looks awesome :D)

@emptysys Well The Pc version characters aren't that good either, except for Captin Virdain, Josef, and Mr. Minecraft. I'm gonna tell you about the good characters and the bad characters in both versions.

Josef and Pink Knight: They're the same person so they're both good

Spelunky and Naija: I don't like Naija, AT ALL because her power is useless. Spelunky can fly downwards

Gish and Headcrab: GISH, he seems to have a more vertical jump.

Naija , isnt useless if you are able to control where to dash actually and handle the speed.

Mr. Minecraft is just for fun and pretty lame actually, but I guess he gets attract points because its great that they put him into the game.

and well I dont know what u mean with good by saying Captain Viridian? I mean he's pretty cool and excellent ported from the original game into SMB but well, in my opinion he's the most useless guy in the game.

so is headcrab/Gish/Goo Ball.

@emptysys I actually still think that Naija is completely worthless. Spleunky can actually fly downwards. But they both suck in 1 way: their jump is short. But Jill is even more worthless. Her power isn't really that useful, thus making her lame. But there's pretty much only one lame character in the XBLA version, Tim. Tim is just for fun like Mr. Minecraft but he's only useful for getting bandges and keys. The Ninja has more aerial tactics than runman. So the XBLA v. gets the good guys.

I still think PC got the better ones, not only for their use, I mean even because they are way cooler.

Anyways to be honest I dont care what all the characters functions is, I got through the game 100 %

with only Meat Boy , Ogmo and Kid, the other guys I did just test to see what they can do.

@emptysys Captin Virdain in't the most useless, Naija and Runman are (mostly Naija). Tofu Boy is completely useless, even worse than Naija. But he's supposed to be useless giving people a challenge. In case you don't know how to get him, go to the character select screen and type in "petaphile". You should hear a voice saying"Push The Buttons!". It's like typing "ballgoo" for gooball Try the first level to see how useless he is.

@emptysys Well, why don't you tell me what you think of all the charcters in the XBLA version. Gish, Alien Hominid, Tim, Spelunky, Pink Knight, and the N+ Ninja. If you like Josef, You like the Pink Knight because they do the same thing (funny you didn't mention him when I told you about the only 3 good characters). The XBLA versiononly gets one bad character, Tim. He's useful for getting bandages and keys but useless in most levels.

N+ Ninja is cool I guess, even though I dont know its function, but I played through the game on PC so I optically like him :)

well Alien Hominid of course is great, and I dont know quite much about all the other characters, sorry.

They never really interested me to be honest :P

and well I dont like Josef in the PC version as well. He was totally useless for me.

@emptysys Spelunky is awsome. He is like Naija but he has a much more horizontal distance. He can also launch himself downwards. Josef is actually pretty good. If you double tap the jump really fast, he will go VERY high. It easily has the highest verticle distance in the game. I'm sure this makes him go higher than Alien Hominid. Tim is the only bad XBLA character. He can rewind time to go through buzz saws, but he's only useful for getting bandages and keys.

@emptysys No, Tim can rewind time by 3 seconds to go through moving buzzsaws. At first I thought he was useful but eventually he became worthless. He's only good for getting bandages and keys. He can't run unlike everyone else, he can only walk. Did you try that Josef glitch I told you about? You don't seem to like the PC characters that much. You don't like Josef, Steve, Virdain, or Headcrab and Gooball. You seem to like N+ Ninja better than Runman.

@emptysys Like I said, Spelunky is MUCH better than Naija. He is like her but with a much more horizontal distance. This can be useful in Rapture levels. Naija on the other hand, has has to fly upwards, then comes falling down. This usually ends up in accidental suicide. The only good thing about her is that she is better at wall jumping levels than Spelunky. But they both have short jumps. Spelunky can fly faster and farther, while Naija goes slower and shorter.
