And the US support of israel is the reason they cant get cheap oil anymore. His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama called a full amnesty (which means freedom for all) before he left the jokhang temple the first time when china invaded Tibet in 1950. So he freed them all.

What is being asked is for basic rights without fear of emprisonment and death. 1.2 million Tibetans have been killed since the communist regime took over the country. Two wrongs don't make a right. At least we are allowed to hear about it and try to take steps to prevent it from happening again. People need to udnerstand that governments are made of people, and like them they are flawed and need to be educated. When a system is flawed and corrupt their best weapon is keeping people in ignorance and hiding information. We've seen this enough to know how dangerous that is. Justifying a wrong with another one is denial and cowardice to do something about it.
