The juicy fruit tree commercial came out when I was 6 years old... and I "planted" wrappers in the ground from a pack of juicy fruit thinking my very own juicy fruit tree would grow!!! Of course I was so disappointed when absolutely nothing happened :)

At 0:10, this version has lyrics that sound like "hold it up, move it out, the taste is gonna move ya when you pop it in your mouth"

The other version (the one I'm more familiar with, and is also on youtube) has these lyrics: "take a sniff, pull it out, the taste is gonna move ya when you pop it in your mouth"

They say sex sells ... and I guess they originally thought all the T&A wasn't enough!

Comedians made fun of these lyrics throughout the latter 80s.

In the other version, it's "the taste, the taste, the taste" ... probably changed because that's DAMNED hard to sing along with!
