@aserv948 no it doesn't, i found it actually ran slower and crashed randomly while i was in the middle of a song. Get reason 5, it's simple like FL and the sound is much better. I got mine from isohunt.

no the sound is not better, the differences are really minor if audible at all. It's always a problem of psychological influence. If you want to hear that a DAW is "sounding" differently, you will hear it but that doesn't mean it's true. Reason 5 is a good daw but it doesn't support any VST or Audio Unit plugins, a major downside for me. In the same time, it has less bugs because of that. Plugins can cause a vast range of problems but cover a wider variety of sounds categories (+ better FX).

I recomend anyone who are going to try this, to DONT... When using a unsupported software, trough another software, only disaster can emerge... Easy said, it will go EXTREMLY slowly... Watch the second-counter when he is playing some simple sounds... it lags....

My suggestion is to use booth camp.. It works great..

For the people who don't know how to use FL on mac.

1. Download Darwine (do google search for download)

2. Install Darwine

3. Download a copy of FL

4. Run the EXE setup file. The file may take sometime to load

5. Complete the installation

And that is it!

@FLStudio4512 There's an application called Boot camp included in Mac OS x (leopard) and up allows you to do this :) and partitioning dude. There are loads of how-to's on the net and on youtube if you wish to do this
