My jazz pianist dad wanted to teach me the piano and I refused thinking that he'd teach me jazz and I KNEW that I'd be an organist in a cathedral when I grew up. 45 years later, I'm still not an organist anywhere even though I've played in the 2 largest cathedrals in America.
