Deeply beautiful and very striking features. The Princess caputures the attention of the viewer and her looks are years ahead of all the present day fashion icons and with added sophistication. HM The Queen has also this powerful beauty. I have just come from a visit in Kirchheim unter Teck in Baden Wuerttemberg. The day was sunny and warm. I see a lot of Princess Anne in her. I think that she and her brothers had a difficult childhood. I didn't know the story of her not attending the Queen's wedding because Wallis and Edward were not invited. Interesting, thankyou. It seems strange that the daughter of a King can disappear as she has done.

I had the pleasure of knowing her Daughter in Law; prior to her divorce from the present Lord Harewood, She was always very fond of her Mother in Law.

Yes Queen Mary did pass on strong genetic resemblances to the Windsor females right down to Zara Phillips and indeed Lady Gabriella Windsor. Thank You once again for all your efforts.

I agree with the other comments. I have been interested in HRH for some while, and I think her elder son, the present Earl of Harewood, is also a very interesting man.

From the marvellous pictures, I can see that as a girl and a young woman she had a luminous quality. I would call it beauty. And in later years, she had grace. It seems she was her mother's daughter: the same erect carriage. A lady as well as a Princess.

Beautiful video! Growing up with 4 brothers couldn't have been easy -- yet it seems Princess Mary remained her very own person, throughout her life! Gracious and opinionated, sensitive, caring of history & family, aware f duty and othe needs of others,,,I get allthis from this video! (Aside from knowing she had 4 brothers, I no very little f Pss. Thats so kind, I thank YOU! I'm mostly glad, people enjoy it. Yes, she was a sensitve and caring person. But as the Duke of Windsor wrote in his memoirs, she also had a strong personality and a hard head against her brothers :-) She was also very very close to her brother Edward VIII later the Duke of WIndsor. There is this story, that she didn't attend Queen Elizabeths Wedding, because the Duke and Wallis Simpson weren't invited. I think, she was very loyal with people, she loved...

That's because Zara's mother, The Princess Royal, resembles her great aunt a a great deal! The story about the Windsor boycott of Elizabeth's wedding is true. Apparently, she thought enough was enough and, yes, she remained close to her brother.
