Please explain something to me. Even though we haven't submitted to drilling gas prices have been dropping like a stone. We were told they were up because we were at war and because of Iran and other terror threats. Wait a minute: We are still at war, Iran is still threatening to build nukes, Bin Laden is still out there and what's more there's a new war in Georgia. Oh now I see : it's 3 months before the election and the oil companies need to get McCain elected. Price gouging pieces of shit.
The problem is, a lot of Republicans are dumb enough to believe that oil executives want to act in the public's best interest. I've heard actual humans say that oil executives should be running the world because they're smarter than regular people. The proof: they're rich. [IDEA: Vote Paris Hilton: '08!]
So, as stupid as this dust-sh*tting f@#ktard is, and as insane as his "reasoning" is, there are plenty of "patriotic Americans" ready to lap up a tanker full of his snake oil.
The oil executives are right. There sure will be results from drilling. More profits for them and higher prices for us. The more oil these bastards control the worse off we are. We lost 4000 troops and spent billions taking over Iraq and now we're paying over $4 per gallon. Allow drilling offshore if you want to pay over $5 a gallon. It's amazing. 6 months left in Bush's term and all of a sudden we have high prices and a sudden need to drill. Some people need to be slapped with a cluebat.
It's cynical to say that we can drill our way out of this mess. The solution to $4 gas is not off our coast.Oil isnt the issue, its control of oil. Who turns it on and off, who decides who gets it, how much and at what cost.
lol lol lol ohh oil companies. We do that to other countries. Not our own. k? k. Stop trying to topple our government its annoying man. Plus I mean indebting us to China McBush...$3 trillion?
If thats not being a pinko its sure as hell hypocritical. I wouldn't vote McCain if you waterboarded me.
But you can't do it in mine and I live in Florida. I only say this because I'm not stupid and apologize to anybody who buys this liar's big oil bs.
What was it today that an oil spill has shut down the Mississippi? Last time I checked they didn't have a hurrican season and a tourist economy based off of beaches. Not to mention..umm sorry I'm no environmentalist but you're not drilling off the coasts of the Everglades. Drill your backyard I'll use alt. energy we'll see who wins.
but why would oil companies not tell us the truth about oil rakrobn. Why do you hate America? You should just trust them and be afraid of Jews and Homosexuals and public education.
Yes the Oil Executives do tell him that I'm sure, since they just seized Iraq's oil fields and already have millions and millions of acres of OUR land already, now they just have to get this little bit more so they can not use it and NOT have the refining capacity to make it into gas, along with procrastinating more on alternative fuels. WOW it all makes so much sense now! I'm saddened that the "avg" people there are clapping for him and don't know they're voting against their future
What a liar he said just a couple weeks ago that it would take 7 years or more to get any oil from drilling! Anyone ever noticed how McCain looks down when he speaks? shows lack of confidence
Get evil with these greedy bastards!

Because the world entered a steep decline in the need for oil. Speculators don't have much power when there is a supply glut.
Next American Oil Companies don't set prices.
Also have you noticed how oil prices are higher now as a result of restricted supply.
