  • Hi,

I have the same model of CD30 MP3 on my Opel and I want to do this mod. to have a additional input for my car stereo. Can you provide me the details for doing this?

    Tnx

  • Would love to see some datailed photo's of the soldered connections if you have them mate.

  • hello

I got in my car the same radio.

and I would do the same.

say how you were going to do a second.

where can I find it? Greetings

  • einfach geniales Video. Toll gemacht! Weiter so!

  • what I´ve figured out is, that the phone-in at the audio chip is basicly stereo, but it's bridged to mono on the mainboard. So you have to cut one line on the board, lift one pin of the audio processor and solder two jumperwires. If you feel save in soldering directly at smd parts, then it's pretty easy. I will prepare a 'how to do' in the next days...

  • @novoodoo71 how did you mod your cd30mp3? did you rebuild the whole interface circuit (all the filters, hf rejection etc.) or did you just conenct pin 60 (AADR2_N), 61 (AADL2_P), 62 (AADL2_N) and 63 (AADR2_P) of the DCR4R to a jack?

  • @novoodoo71 hi man, can you give me an advice??? i solder all conections as you did, i found some photos and i did it, the only problem is that my left speakers sound very pooly and little noise, but the right side ones work perfetc, what could i do to fix this problem???
