When you enlist, you serve 4 years active and 4 years inactive reserve. The Army can extend you within those final 4 years if you are needed. It is in every servicemember's contract. He was just being a bitch. You enlisted to serve the president. Only congress can declare war, but the president can send us to liberate.
If you sign the contract you don't become an anti war activist while you are serving. Are these people brain dead? I'm a gay man who served 20 years in the Navy. I played the game and got out with a nice retirement check for the rest of my life.
