1. If I'm supposed to be able to read any of the captions beneath the pictures, I can't they are in much too small print for YouTube.
2. If you want a classic hero's journey with a female protagonist I don't think you can do any better than "Spirited Away." Hayao Miyazaki, Studio Ghibli. And also take a look at "Kiki's Delivery Service" and especially, "Laputa, Castle in the Sky." Which have excellent female protagonists.
