Is an evocation where you call the Goddess to you, and invocation is where you call her in you? Someone said to me that evocations were impersonal and deities don't like it - but I really disagree. This is lovely!! :)

@Pagyptsian Blessings and thanks for watching :) Yes, an evocation is to call the Goddess to you, to be with you, to speak with her. The invocation isnt something to be taken lightly because imagine asking the Goddess to go into you? it is like a semi possession; a person has to be in a safe, sacred space to do this and must have a very close and trusting relationship with the divinity being invoked

@Helenhealer when we pray, we are evoking; we are asking the divinity to be in our presence, even when we just talk to them we are evoking. the deities relationship with each of us is unique and personal so one person cant say they dont like it...they cant speak for the deities :) xxxxxxxxxx
