@ everyone The British was fighting a war back in the 1950's or so against France. Both them and the US Army could not take them out it was been 1 1/2 years before Canada stepped in. We ended the war in six days. So yea the US does have more soldiers than us but the few Canadians who PUT THERE LIFE ON THE LINE are a very well trained force. Remember, if you fail at scout sniper training you have to go to your commander and tell him why you fail and majority of the times the failed cadets get sent to different military careers or different units which rarely see any action, think to your self if your can pass it.
@tommysixgunner, Canadian Snipers DO have spotting scopes, spotting scopes can cover more area more easily than a normal sniper scope, spotting scopes are also used to see the bullets traval. It's an idiot thing to NOT use a spotting scope at longer ranges.

Yes the Mac Tac is usable in arctic conditions but does suffer some reliabilty issues if you dont keep your weapon clean. PPCLI and 3RCR BOTH groups spent time on overwatch for MANY different US troops including a few seal teams. I still prefer the RCR though ... but then Im biased I was an RCR.
