I bug my proud beaner friends who brag they are "MEXICAN"...i ask them what land mass i above Mexico...."north america"...what is below "South America" and you say your family has always been from THIS land...what does that mean --you are NATIVE...american -mexico---all terms that have been adopted....
MEXICA----i'm not going to butcher the correct words (Nahwat-i know it's incorrect, it just sounds like it)
now that ma brotha was a momoy song i am a chumash dr weighill is my uncle. i am so proud of him he has the best voice i have heard in indian country. keep it up unc
It make me sad to see the native Americans dress like the White man. They caved in to our culture. At least they kept their music and their languages. Stupid f@$% racist White man.
@Versgolem you fool its not about what you wear or any thing like this but about what you feal anybody in this earth are native, we are all the son's of mother eath!! the universe is in our heart! wakan tanka bless all us.
Finnally some specific tribes of the Mexico area and their traditional songs, you don't get that often with the Mexicans who think they aren't Native American even though it's obvious they are, they do that here in North East Texas, but in South Texas they acknoledge it.
native americans are all around you in this country. to really learn about native american culture the best way is to befriend a native american who is involved in there culture. thats how i learned about it my best friend is odawa
Well I'm part Cherokee. I am still trying 2 learn more bout my native culture. I didn't know I was part native american till about 2000 when my sister told me that my dad had talked 2 his cousin and found out himself that we had cherokee from his side of the family.
the lady playing the the getar sorry cant spell but anyways she looks like my aunt cindy..I just wish I knew what tribe my family came from but anyways enjoyed hearing the sounds of the native people
In my opinion this is true North American Heritage, but the second language in Canada is French/American is lead by Europeans. Im not saying I hate them, but to me its kind of wrong especially Quebec wanting to be their own country. Hello, there is a country called France!
Very nicely done. Truly my great grandmother was Cherrokee and when I was a little girl she made known to me the trail of tears and told me about the ways of her people. I will never forget I pass this on to my daughters and grand children because it is extremely important for them to know
The Native American @s beliefs are the most logical, and respectful of this planet and all on it, it seems to me. Even more than Buddhism, which is also near to my beliefs.
so do i, give the good native ppl that big piece of land back, they know the best how to take care of it unlike the rest over there.. i am sad history went like this:( sorry natives!
