@TheOringinalBRad From what I'd gathered in research, the pineal gland was automatically stimulated through prayer anyway. I didn't know anything about the gland but heard about it through nwo stuff, so I did research on it, not knowing what 'new age' was then.

So, you make a big speech about how the occult is evil, but I have to ask, by your reasoning, what makes you think that anything you believe is any different? Praying the Rosary, which is the culmination of the Gospels is not new age. Praying in front of a Crucifix, or in front of a statue of Jesus, Mary or the Saints is not New age. You aren't praying to a statue, you are focusing on the personage the statue represents - ie, Jesus Mary and/or the Saints in heaven already. @TheOringinalBRad From what I'd gathered in research, the pineal gland was automatically stimulated through prayer anyway. I didn't know anything about the gland but heard about it through nwo stuff, so I did research on it, not knowing what 'new age' was then.
I wasn't "out there" or aware of such random religions and only had exp. with Christianity, so I had no idea what they were talking about. At the time, I'd just started an in-depth religious journey.

I understand you don't accept Catholics, but please look into WHY we do what we do before casting judgment...we don't worship Mary, we honor her -- as is her RIGHT, as the only living tabernacle of the Holy Trinity, when She said "YES" to God. Praying the Rosary, which is the culmination of the Gospels is not new age. Praying in front of a Crucifix, or in front of a statue of Jesus, Mary or the Saints is not New age. You aren't praying to a statue, you are focusing on the personage the statue represents - ie, Jesus Mary and/or the Saints in heaven already. If I wasn’t being stalked by the Christian version (cult really) of the “Trolls of Terror” I’d make a joke here since everyone is stressed out. No, occult use in our believe shouldn’t ever happen. If someone wears a cross as an identify part of their faith I see no harm in it. But if they worship it as a symbol then that’s wrong. As a 25 year Catholic I can say there are many errors in the RCC. But they are no worse than cults like David Koresh or AMW. It’s all the same.

@Taurion4467- Evangelicalism. Catholicism, Eastern Orthodoxy and mainstream Protestantism never tried to claim that Christianity is "not a religion". The Protestant "reformers" did not object to the the term religion either; in fact, they all used it to refer to the Christian Faith!
In past attempts to share the Gospel with people who dislike "organized religion". Such folk would show resistance toward any discussion about Jesus and hostility to the prospect of becoming Christians.
