  • So sad about Howie....RIP Howie Epstein.

  • So cool to see a man dance with joyous abandon. :43 to :46. Go, Scott Thurston!

  • dear uploader, please upload the part where Dave Grohl talks about joining the band for the SNL gig in 94. Please give a thumps up if you agree.

  • @thechad129 Stop with this thumbs up crap. It's lame.

  • It was just something different, all great bands like to try other things from time to time.. At the end of the day like tom says, how it's made isn't as important as how memorable some of the songs off this album have become. You can't go through a Petty concert since without hearing a track from this album.

  • just like i wish Steve Perry would Re-Unite with Journey, I wish Stan Lynch would still be playing with Petty.

  • @drumdude46 Good GOD what a horrible band Journey was. lol

  • I just read Scott Thurston was raised in Medford, OR

like 30min. away from where I live

SWEET, seems like a cool guy

  • Jeff Lynne did a good job on Petty's solo record, but he never should have produced a Heartbreakers record. They are being polite there, but you can tell that it really wasn't the right thing to do.

  • You havent got a clue.

  • I agree. Petty's best work has been with the Heartbreakers because although he was always a great songwriter, they truly gave him an exciting rock & roll edge early on. What Jeff Lynne did wasn't rock and roll. He is a meticulous pop craftsman and that's what he does. The songs remained great when he produced them but they were given too polished a treatment. Rick Rubin did slightly better.

  • @mabewa Thats what I wonder about if that has something to do with Stanley not enjoying anymore, "not being allowed to hang" and that he liked doing things all together

  • How cool, thanks for the upload, I thought he mainly worked with Jackson Browne, Scott that is. Gosh Tom Petty looks hot with a beard.
