  • late or not , guys should know to keep their head up when mush was patrolling the trolly tracks

  • @PocketHercules99 there is one pretty clear thing. Wanvig tryed to overtake his opponent and Marchment was coming and trying to hit him and what happened next?? Wanvig lost a puck and Pang. Marchment finished his check, a bit late but i defends Marchment because Wanfig tryed a solo move and he lost a puck from himself and Marchment was trying a hit at him because seeing what he tryes agianst Calgary player SO SO SO.

And the hit is very clean too.

  • marchment smoked him

  • wtf? clean hit and he gets penalty for that...

  • If he would have had the puck it would have been a legal hit.

  • wrong...its allowed to hit before team gets pass in his control!

  • Rule 67a - Interference - A minor penalty shall be imposed on a player who interferes with or impedes the progress of an opponent who is not in possession of the puck.

I remember this game and I'm pretty sure they called Marchment for charging.

Rule 47a - Charging - A minor or major penalty shall be imposed on a player who skates or jumps into, or charges an opponent in any manner.

  • @mbishop1113 well thats definitely not Charging. For charging you must have taken "more than 3 strides" into the player.... He was coasting around for long enough without moving his feet so it shouldnt be a charging call. thats interference though for sure

  • @skew06 "skates or jumps into, or charges an opponent in any manner" can be interpreted pretty loosely. It was a charging call:

    Calgary charging - 2 min 7:16, B. Marchment

  • still not a late hit. keep your head up

  • @Walberi no buddy that's a late hit, i don't know if your eyes are open but he hit him seconds after he hit the puck

  • "Owns"? Anyone could do that if you interfere with a guy that's looking away.

  • Did you see the Stevens hit on Kariya? This is the same situation pal, the guy got caught looking at the puck and got laid out.
